La religión de Frisia es extremadamente simple, y Monoteismo puro. El espíritu de Wr-alda o Wr-alda es el espírotu eterno, inmutable, perfecto y todopoderoso. Wr-alda lo ha creado todo. De él procede todo-primero el principio, el tiempo, y después Irtha, la Tierra. Irtha dio a luz a tres hijas - Lyda, Finda y Frya - las madres de las tres distintas razas, negra, amarilla, y blanca - África, Asia y Europa.
